中 120층 상하이타워 착공..623ｍ로 최고
2014년 완공...세계 최고층 전망대도 설계
(홍콩=연합뉴스) 정재용 특파원 = 높이 632ｍ로 중국에서 가장 높게 설계된 상하이 타워가 29일 공사를 시작한다.
상하이 푸둥(浦東)지역 금융섹터인 루자주이(陸家嘴)에 세워질 상하이 타워가 29일부터 공사에 들어간다고 홍콩의 사우스차이나모닝포스트가 28일 보도했다.
총 120층으로 설계된 상하이 타워는 오는 2014년 완공되면 현재 중국 최고층인 상하이 세계파이낸셜센터(SWFC)를 제치고 중국 최고 높이의 건물로 자리잡게 된다. 지난 9월 문을 연 SWFC는 492ｍ로 상하이타워에 훨씬 못미친다.
상하이 타워는 또 대만의 `타이베이 국제금융센터'(101층,509ｍ) 보다도 훨씬 높다.
특히 상하이 타워는 완공후 상당기간 두바이 타워에 이어 세계에서 2번째로 높은 건물로 기록될 가능성이 높아 보인다.
상하이 타워는 총면적이 57만6천㎡로 설계돼 있으며, 사무실과 고급호텔 등이 입주하게 된다.
특히 476ｍ로 세계에서 가장 높은 전망대가 들어설 계획이어서 상하이를 대표하는 관광명소로 떠오를 전망이다.
이 건물이 완공되면 푸둥지역은 상하이타워, SWFC, 진마오(金茂) 빌딩(88층, 421ｍ)이 삼각형 구도로 조화를 이뤄 환상적인 스카이라인을 형성하게 될 것으로 보인다.
상하이 빌딩 건설에는 중국 국영기업들이 컨소시엄 형태로 참여하고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.
이 빌딩은 오는 2014년 완공을 목표로 하되 지하층의 경우 상하이 국제박람회가 열리는 2010년에 완공될 예정이라고 사우스차이나모닝포스트는 전했다.
